Just so you know...you do want a Wii! In addition to being interesting from the controller perspective, the motion and position sensitive controllers work equally well on platformers...like Zelda.
We lucked into ours around 8 months ago. My friends have all gotten theirs by calling stores in the morning and early afternoon and running there to get them. Average time to get a Wii using this method with Gamestop's: 2 weeks.
Oh, I totally agree -- it is an awesome system.
If only I worked closer to a Gamestop... I do work pretty close to a Target, though...
